MY NAME IS JACKSON ELLISON. I’M A UNIVERSITY STUDENT CURRENTLY ATTENDING UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE AT CHATTANOOGA WORKING TOWARDS A MAJOR IN MARKETING.

I TRY TO PHOTOGRAPH WHAT FEELS REAL. THE STAGING AND OVERTHINKING NEVER MET THE AUTHENTICITY I APPRECIATE ABOUT PHOTOGRAPHY. MOST OF WHAT I PHOTOGRAPH COMES FROM MY EVERYDAY LIFE — GOING OUT WITH MY FRIENDS, TRAVELING, OR JUST WHATEVER CATCHES MY EYE. YOU EXPERIENCE EVERYTHING IN YOUR LIFE FOR A REASON, WHETHER THAT’S THE PEOPLE YOU MEET, OR THE PLACES YOU END UP. I THINK IT’S BEAUTIFUL TO CAPTURE THAT IN REAL TIME.
